These are our rules. By posting on this forum, you are agreeing to our rules and will comply with them.
In case you didn't know, this is a Wolf Roleplay board. I am the administrator, and what I say goes. I will be fair, though, so don't worry about that. If you don't break the rules, you'll be fine.
1. Don't post anything inappropriate. This means ANYTHING, whether it be text, pictures, etc, I don't care. None of it.
2. Do not kill a wolf without their roleplayer's permission. If you try, that post will be deleted, and you will probably be flamed. If you have permission from that person's roleplayer, though, it's fine.
3. No having pups without my (Rae's) permission. Please PM me if your wolf would like to have pups with another wolf. Note: You won't roleplay the actual act, as that would be in violation of another rule. The female will become pregnant, carry her pups for a while, and eventually have them.
4. Don't swear. How many wolves do you know that walk around swearing their entire life? I wasn't aware that wolves knew our swear words, so don't post them. They've been censored on this forum, anyway. Again, anyone can be viewing these forums.
5. We use natural wolves here. This means no wings, odd colors, powers/elements, jewelry, and all that jazz.
6. No powerplaying/godmoding. It's just plain unacceptable. Don't know what powerplaying and godming are? Read on.
Powerplaying: This post is powerplaying.
Scar ran up to his enemy, jumping high, and landing on top of the other wolf. He sunk his claws deep into his enemy's flesh, and bit the back of the other wolf's neck, killing the wolf.
Why is it powerplaying? Because you're not giving the other wolf a chance to do what they will. Say, when Scar jumped, maybe his enemy ran out from under him, preventing the attack from commencing. Also, it says Scar killed the other wolf. Scar didn't have permission to kill that wolf.
Godmoding is when your character is totally invincible. Scar is incredibly skilled in battle, so he never gets hit and always wins. He could be fighting 1,000 wolves, and he wouldn't get hit once. Oh, and he can kill his enemies in one hit.
Scar is godmoding.
If your character is never getting hit, and always winning every battle, you're godmoding and breaking the rules. I'm not saying your character can't be a good fighter, I'm just saying that no wolf is unbeatable and completely able to dodge every attack.
If you have to deal with any of these, inform the other person that they are breaking the rules. If they don't stop, please PM me and I'll take care of it. Just don't start a fight.
7. No fighting OOC. If you didn't know, OOC=out of character. This means that you are talking to other people and not roleplaying one of your wolves. To keep it simple, fights make me mad. Also, don't talk about religion or politics. Stating your beliefs is something I'll accept, but if it comes to a fight, it's against the rules. =)
8. All IC posts should be a decent paragraph in length. I wasn't too strict on this last time around, but seriously, "Sally said blah blah blah" gets old. Put some emotion into it. If you can't quite hit 5 lines ish in the text box where you type up your post, ask some questions about what's going on. How does your character feel? Why does he/she feel that way? Any other descriptive things you could add in? If anyone has complaints about certain members posts not being long enough, let me know. I'll keep it anonymous who you are, and let them know that it's a problem so it doesn't go farther than it must. ^_^
9. Don't post OOC in an IC forum too often. IC=in character. Please try to keep OOC in IC threads minimal. Make a thread in the General board if you want to chat. (Note: If you want to talk OOC in the same post as an IC part is in, feel free. Nothing wrong with adding!)
10. Be fair in karma. Exalt=+1 karma, smite=-1 karma. You can't adjust your own. I don't care if you don't like that person or if your wolves don't like eachother. That's not how you do karma. You give someone karma if they are a skilled roleplayer, and take it away if you believe them to be a horrid roleplayer.
11. No chatspeak. It is simply annoying. You is not a one letter word. Like contains no Y. Brb, ttyl, lol, and all that normal stuff is fine. But don't get out of hand. =)
12. Punctuate. This includes pressing shift at the beginning of proper nouns and sentences. This means putting a period at the end of every sentence, and quotation marks every time your character says something. Occasional typos and mistakes are okay, but I'm just trying to say that not punctuating is very annoying.
13. No blood thirsty wolves whose lives are violence. An occasional fight is obviously acceptable. What I don't want to see is a wolf who is -constantly- in fights, and constantly killing off other wolves.
14. No desperate and dying wolves. I find it very annoying to have my wolves nursing your wolf back to health. If they get injured in a fight, fine. But don't bring them onto the boards first thing and have them dying.
15. Each character can only be on one thread. This was already a rule in my head, but it's occured to me that I haven't stated it. Each character can only be in one thread at a time, to prevent confusion.
16. No censor bypassing. Seriously. @ can't be an a. ! isn't an i. Just.. don't go there.
17. Keep signatures and avatars reasonable. Don't use a huge image on either one. 100x100 is max on avatars, so maybe try to keep the file size down. I won't post restrictions here, so just use common sense.
Get a character! Post this under the Applications board and wait for me to accept your character before you begin roleplaying.

Join a pack! Go and start roleplaying in a pack and eventually join it. Alphas may request an application to join their pack if they wish.
You can have as many wolves as you can keep up with. You need to have an application for each one, but I won't limit you. Make sure you can keep up with them and aren't forgetting any.
Have anything else you want added? Go ahead and mail me. I'll add it here so we have no confusion.
